Projects

Despite the existence of practice principles that are rooted in research and the consensus of clinical experts, CRT coverage policies of medical insurers are far from ideal. Coverage of CRT is diagnosis-driven rather than based on the functional needs of the user. Policies have been written to deter waste, fraud, and abuse rather than promote value-based care. Our Center personnel are a diverse collection of outstanding investigators, clinical and technical staff within the CRT field and community. Our aim is to address the shortage of high-level research by proposing innovative but pragmatic research projects to drive policy reform.
